TAKK IORI

About

Takk Iori is a multidisciplinary artist exploring the intersection of music, technology and creativity. His passion for music began at a very young age, heavily influenced by his family's musical culture, which exposed him to a wide variety of genres. During his youth, he played the piano and studied music theory. However, it was the discovery of electronic music that brought everything into focus for him.

Art has always been a driving force in Takk's career, finding ways to connect culture, innovation and communities. In 2021, he founded The Generative Art Museum, a non-profit organization based in Barcelona dedicated to promoting art created through code as a medium of artistic expression.

Promoting culture has been a consistent theme throughout his journey, intertwined with his professional career as a software developer and founder of multiple startups. In 2023, he embarked on a new chapter under the alias Takk Iori, reigniting and fully embracing his passion for music. Since then, he has co-founded Roca Umbert Sound Factory (RUSF), A Year in Covers, and Suninguba.

Sonically speaking, Takk Iori is not binded to any genre. You will often find him digging on ambient, experimental, idm, drone, dub techno, leftfield, techno and deep house.

Echoes and pulse. Notes drift. Whispers from ages past. Threads of sound entwine, unearthing spaces unseen, a place where rhythms mend. Here, music is breath, memory, balm; a path winding inward, where healing finds its form.
